Our final station taught us orienteering, using a compass, and some fun math too. Our students were extremely well behaved, and I am so proud of them!

The different careers included fish and game warden, flight instructor, yoga instructor, animal control officer, dance choreographer, court reporter, engraver/etcher, and acupuncturist. For this event, students selected three careers to explore and listened to guest speakers in the gym. We learned about exciting career choices to pursue, the requirements for the different careers, and how important it is to work hard in school.

We have made a change to our schedule to help your child (hopefully) have a better day. Mrs. Dyer will be teaching reading and math to our class, and Ms. Martin will be teaching reading and math to her class. We will still be switching classes for science and social studies, but switching for our core subjects has just been too hard on everyone. We feel that this change will benefit everyone. As always, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, do not hesitate to contact me!
