After your typing practice, you are going to check out the World Book Online.
You are going to select a topic of interest that you can learn more about in the online encyclopedia. Before you begin your reading, you will start a K-W-L chart:
What I Know (K) What I Want to Know (W) What I Learned (L)
Complete the first two sections (K & W) before reading your article.
Fill in the last section after you finish reading.
On the back of your paper, create a main idea web with at least four supporting details.

IF (and that's a big IF) you have internet access at home and would like to use your computer lab article for this week's IRA, you may. You will probably need to access World Book from the "other websites" tab above and use the given username/password. If you cannot get World Book to work at home, then you will probably have to use a different article. I can't offer much in the way of tech support.
