Spelling: HOMOPHONES
Monday: Write your spelling words in ABC order in your agenda.
Tues.-Wed.: Use each spelling word correctly in a sentence (due Thurs.).  Underline the spelling word in the sentence.
BONUS (+7): Label at least seven of your sentences (correctly) as declarative,
imperative, interrogative, exclamatory, simple, compound, and complex.
Study nightly!

Vocabulary:
Complete a vocabulary choice activity (due Thursday).
Study each night, Monday – Thursday, for your test on Friday.
1.     devise (v.): to contrive, plan, or elaborate; invent from an existing principle or idea; to develop a method
2.     merit (n.): something that deserves or justifies a reward or commendation; a commendable quality, act, etc.

4.     harbor (v.): to give shelter to; offer refuge to
5.     intrigue (v.): to arouse the curiosity or interest of by unusual, new, or otherwise fascinating or compelling qualities; to appeal strongly to; to captivate

IRA: Homophones Hunt!
            Choose ten pages in your book that you have already read.  Reread these pages carefully, recording any and all homophones you find (and the page number).  You must include your Book Title on your IRA. 
BONUS: Include any homophones not on our list and explain their meaning(s).
