Today we participated in a snake presentation from Ms. Sheila from Smithgall Woods. We learned a lot about the food chain in addition to snakes. The most important lesson Ms. Sheila and I want everyone to remember is to leave snakes alone!
We have our "sun" (the ultimate energy producer), our "corn plant" (a producer), a "rat" (a primary consumer), and a "snake" (secondary consumer), and below, a "hawk" (plus Ms. Sheila).
Another fun thing today was a "trick or treat" activity. It was all about following directions, and most of the kids got tricked!!! The students who followed directions also got a little treat. Hopefully this little trick will help them remember to read and follow directions. (I know that will benefit ALL of us!)
*Chaperone trip deposits are due tomorrow!
